For years, the Konrad Mägi Foundation has issued an award of € 5,000 to those who in the previous year have contributed to the popularisation of Konrad Mägi’s heritage. From 2026 onward, anyone who has taken steps to introduce Konrad Mägi’s oeuvre in Estonia or abroad may set up their candidature.

The Annual Award Statutes of the Konrad Mägi Foundation
The annual award will be given to a person or a group of persons who have significantly contributed to acquainting the general public with Konrad Mägi’s life and oeuvre in Estonia or abroad.
The contribution may relate to art historical research, curating, journalism, popular science, local history, education, or be conspicuous in some other way, e.g. by helping to locate Konrad Mägi’s paintings. Contributions during the previous calendar year as well as over a longer period will be taken into account.
Anyone from Estonia or elsewhere is welcome to set up their candidature. Applications with descriptions of activities should be sent to the email address of the Konrad Mägi Foundation info@konradmagi.ee by 1 October at the latest. The first applications will hence be expected by 1 October 2026.
The winner of the annual award will be declared on 1 November.
The size of the award is € 5,000.

2022 Pilvi Kalhama, curator, director of the Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA), curator of Konrad Mägi’s solo exhibition
2023 Nils Ohlsen, curator, director of Lillehammer Art Museum, curator of Konrad Mägi’s solo exhibition
2025 Priit Põldma, dramatist, playwright and stage director, author of the play Fever on Konrad Mägi and Nikolai Triik
