Rome, Italy. December 1921, April–June 1922
Rome was Mägi’s first stop in Italy, but he returned there after his trip to Capri and before going to Venice. Since he first arrived in Rome in winter, we can assume that the Roman motifs were mainly created in the spring and summer of 1922. He had his mail delivered to the Estonian Embassy in Via Cola di Rienzo, which is located halfway from the Vatican to Villa Borghese.
